Soothe your Soul in Sedona...

Reflect on both your inner terrain and the endlessly breath-taking landscape around you. Greet each new day with an intentional and joy-filled Morning Yoga practice, then reconnect with your heart's desires: be that an exploration of the awe-inspiring hiking trails that surround us (hikes, relaxing in one of our 2 hot tubs, cooling off at Slide Rock State Park, or enjoying an excursion to Sedona's creative downtown for shopping and dining. Each evening, we will resolve the day with a restorative and soul-soothing offering of breath, stillness and sound under the stars.

Your retreat includes 6 meals (see itinerary below), transportation to and from Phoenix airport (you may choose to rent a car if you would like more autonomy regarding daily explorations) and an excursion to Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend.

We are over the moon excited for our 2nd retreat in Sedona and very happy to answer any questions you may have. Please contact Stephen at (973)838-9642 or by sending an email to info@highlandyoga.com.

April Linson & Stephen Tortorello

Meet April:

April Linson is an intuitive, compassionate guide devoted to supporting fellow humans on their path to inner healing and purposeful living. With over a decade of experience, she gently holds space for transformation using a grounded blend of energy work, movement, and soulful inquiry. April humbly gives all of the honor and glory to God – the Great Healer and Miracle Worker, of Whom she is divinely employed.

Drawing from her own healing journey as inspiration, April shares the tools and practices that have profoundly supported her along the way. She is a Certified Breathwork Healing Facilitator, an Advanced Biofield Tuning and Sound Healing Practitioner, a Certified Ikigai Soul Coaching Guide, and a Guan Jing / Somatic Movement and Silk Fans Instructor. Her integrative approach helps others clear energetic blocks, reconnect with their bodies, and realign with their inner wisdom.

April’s work invites a deep return to self—where breath, sound, and movement open the door to clarity, creativity, and purpose. Whether through one-on-one sessions, immersive retreats, or sacred group spaces, she meets each person with compassion, presence, and deep respect for their unique path.

Meet Stephen:

Seeking to make a profound change in his life and become an active participant in his own wellness, Stephen enrolled in massage therapy at the Institute of Therapeutic Massage in 2002. Inspired by an improved sense of well-being and positivity, Stephen also earned a certification as a personal trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He graduated from the School of Integrative Therapies in June 2006 where he developed his skills in Structural Integration.

In 2008 Stephen completed his 200-hour yoga teacher training with Yogaworks, a system based upon Iyengar and Ashtanga principles. His style utilizes the building of intelligent sequences to prepare the body for postures of increasing challenge.

Stephen is passionate about wellness and is dedicated to exploring the endless mysteries of the body. He continues to deepen his knowlegde of anatomy and kinesiology through continuing education. A natural teacher, Stephen began teaching massage therapy and anatomy & physiology at the Institute for Therapeutic Massage in 2005.

“I originally began my yoga practice with the intention of becoming more flexible. I had no intention of changing my whole life. That is the greatest gift of yoga; the power to transform. Once you begin a dedicated yoga practice, there is no turning back. This is your new way of life, and it’s incredible.”
